Tyrod Taylor carted to locker room with knee injury

Tyrod Taylor carted off, Nathan Peterman in at QB

Taylor was tackled at the line of scrimmage, landing awkwardly on his leg.

McDermott said Taylor avoided ligament damage after being injured on the Bills' first offensive play of Sunday's 23-3 loss to the New England Patriots. He suffered the injury to his left knee on the first play of the game and played through it until early in the fourth quarter when he was carted off the field. He's officially out for the game. According to team's official Twitter account, Taylor was quickly ruled out after being carted off and was replaced by Nathan Peterman.

In a shocking move for a team still in the playoff race, Buffalo head coach Sean McDermott elected to start Peterman in his team's game against the Los Angeles Chargers on November 19.

Big Ten Championship 2017
That marked one more record for the most decorated quarterback in the history of one of college football's most decorated teams. Ohio State does not know if it will rank fourth or fifth, but the Buckeyes think they deserve a crack at the playoff.

While fantasy players won't be rushing to add Peterman off the waiver wire-especially after his five-interception performance the last time he played-the injury could also impact the rest of the Bills offense.
