Twitter loses nearly as many users as it gains every day

Despite the MAUs snafu, Twitter beat analysts expectations on revenue and earns per share.

It added four million additional monthly users during the quarter and grew daily users by 14%, an improvement from zero new users added during the previous quarter.

Over the past two years, Twitter has added an average of just under three million new users per quarter, which means Twitter is losing nearly as many old users as it's gaining new users.

For the fourth quarter, the company expects adjusted EBITDA to be between $220 million and $240 million, adjusted EBITDA margin to be between 35% and 36%, capital expenditures to be no more than $110 million.

In a statement, Twitter said it would "likely" show its first net profit in the fourth quarter if growth reaches the high end of its target.

Terror charge against Patel is baseless, says Congress
Stimberwala resigned recently as an eco-cardiogram technician at the hospital, which Patel had helped grow into a modern facility. The ATS however has mentioned only a Jewish synagogue during its investigations and no Hindu religious heads, as Rupani alleged.

Twitter's (TWTR) user base wasn't quite as big as it tweeted about in past years.

Net loss for its third quarter 2017 narrowed to $21.10 million or $0.03 per share from $102.87 million or $0.15 per share in the same quarter a year ago. Quarterly non-GAAP net income was $77.85 million, or $0.10 per share, compared to $61.39 million, or $0.09 per share in the prior year.

That's despite a continued downtrend in revenue, which fell 4% year-on-year to $590 million, and the third straight quarter of revenue declines, as Recode pointed out.

The company, which reported its third quarter earnings before the bell on Thursday, said in a letter to shareholders it found out it was counting users of a third party ad service which should not have been included. Total advertising revenue was $503 million, a decrease of 8% year-over-year.
