Behrendorff the catalyst as Australia level T20 series

Warner invites India to bat in 2nd T20

The first chapter of global cricket in the Barsapura Cricket Stadium in Guwahati did not turn out well for the hosts, India, as Australia thrashed them with 8 wickets remaining in the second game of the three-match T20I series.

It was a good bounce back from Australia after they lost the first T20I on Saturday.

India captain Virat Kohli was on Tuesday dismissed for a duck for the first time in his Twenty20 global career. The dew also was a factor with the ball not turning as much as it did in the first innings. Behrendorff, playing only his second T20I for Australia, ripped India's top order apart with a spell of 4/21 that restricted Virat Kohli and Co to 118 all out.

Kohli might also fancy including veteran pacer Ashish Nehra in the team. Australia's batting woes continued as they once again failed to read Kuldeep Yadav's left-arm wrist spin.

Pandya was out caught off Marcus Stoinis (1-20) in the 18th as the runs came in a trickle, offering an easy target for the tourists.

Before the second T-20 worldwide match, on Monday, David Warner led Australian team had net practised at Barshapara Cricket Stadium.
