Emma de Caunes has posed on the cover of Playboy for its December 2008 issue.

"He wasn't much of the kind of boss where he wants to control everything".

"My heart broke and and I shed a few tears because he was such a good person", Noerenberg said.

Jenny McCarthy got emotional while opening up about the death of Hugh Hefner, someone who she credits with helping start her career.

Hefner was born on April 9, 1926 in Chicago, Illinois, and went on to become a millionaire after founding the influential men's magazine in 1953. "Americans would never be interested in food", the finance community told them, so the group set out to cobble together a patchwork of backers-Playboy was one of them.

Hefner also advocated for such matters via his non-profit, the Playboy Foundation, which gave money to rape centers, child care facilities, and the ACLU Women's Rights Project.

At the time, Emma de Caunes, did not hide his enthusiasm at the idea of appearing so scantily clad on the cover of Playboy.

"She is without question the definitive sex icon of our time", Hefner said of Monroe.

Nearly six decades later, the controversial publishing mogul told CBS Los Angeles that he still felt a "double connection" to the model-actress, who died in 1962. "Out of the blue, Playboy magazine sent me a gift of $25K to help me through the chaos".

"He was a revolutionary, and a rebel", Jordan said.
