11-year-old boy with lawn mowing business cuts White House grass

11-year-old Frank Giaccio mows White House lawn

Both Frank and his dad were surprised and pleased last month when White House spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders read his letter aloud during a televised press briefing.

Frank Giaccio, 11, wrote to the president in August saying he wanted to show the nation "what young people like me are ready for", going on to write about his admiration for Trump's business background.

As you can see in the clip above, Frank was so into finishing his work that when President Donald Trump walked up to him, Frank just kept on mowing.

Frank, from Falls Church, Virginia, was granted permission to mow the grass in the Rose Garden with supervision from park service employees. The White House said FX had written to Trump to say he admires the president's business acumen and runs his own neighborhood lawn-care business. "We're lucky. That's the real future of the country", the president said.

Gulf Crisis: Arab League meeting turns into words showdown
The United Arab Emirates, one of the countries boycotting Doha, publicly criticized the move. Qatar has denied supporting extremism, saying the crisis is politically motivated.

Giaccio may not get paid the standard $8 he gets for mowing lawns, but an A-plus from the president of the United States is worth a whole lot more.

"I didn't actually know I was going to come up on TV", Frank said. I can bring extra fuel for the power mower and charged batteries for the weed whacker.

The Hill said Trump promised to invite Giaccio and his family into the Oval Office for a longer talk after he was finished mowing. When given a push mower, he got to work trimming the grass in the Rose Garden, outside the Oval Office.
