Game of Thrones theory suggests Bran Stark may be The Night King

Anyway, there's a lot to consider when discussing whether the Night King was manipulating the situation. Until then, you can check out the Season 7 finale trailer.

Considering that HBO explicitly released this due to "The Dragon and the Wolf", the Game of Thrones season 7 finale, airing this weekend, it seems like we may not have seen the last of the Night King this season (and for more on what that might look like, yes, there's something going around).

The Night King is the leader of the undead White Walkers in the HBO show (in the "Song of Ice and Fire" books, George R.R. Martin prefers to call him the Night's King, and only mentions him briefly). Some Game of Thrones viewers got really excited and started sharing the photo, believing there was a big clue that had been right under their noses all along. Because, you know what's scarier than Cersei and/or the Night King separately?

But that's still not enough for some fans, and now they are wondering if there's more to The Night King than meets the eye. It's too easy, and it wouldn't be too much of a stretch to believe you'd need something with that much firepower to fight a massive, flying, probably ice-breathing lizard. In other words: three ice spears for three dragons; the White Walkers are totally prepared to kill all three of Dany's children when they ride into that battle. If you look closely, the Night King and the two White Walkers to his left are holding the long ice spears needed to kill a dragon, while the other two are holding icy swords.

Tropical Storm Watch issued for NC, SC coasts
Rough surf, rip currents and coastal flooding are anticipated Monday and Tuesday along the coast from Georgia to the mid-Atlantic. Additionally, the low-pressure system in tandem with strong high pressure over the Northeast will create an onshore wind flow.

The photo was likely photoshopped to try to lend credence to one fan theory that Bran secretly is the Night King because of some form of time travel. Because she'll have her dead kids, Ned Stark, and everyone else who's died in King's Landing (and elsewhere) at her side with vengeance in their undead hearts - with an ice dragon to help her end the Realm of the living.

It's a silly plan anyway, as many have already pointed out. The preview shows the crew led by Jon Snow, played by Kit Harrington, walk into what looks like a dragon pit to show Cersei the Wight (member of the Army of the Dead) they captured to prove to everyone in Westeros that their politics means nothing in the grand scheme of things. Which is why he had weapons not just ready, but close to him, that could destroy dragons. "With the combination of the children's magic and Brans power, he becomes the villain instead of the hero he tried to be, resulting in turning against the children for creating him and getting stuck behind the magical Wall he later builds as Bran the builder".

"From here Bran gets stuck in the past (exactly as Brynden and Jojen warned him not to) and becomes the Night king". It means that everything that has happened until this point has been going according to his plan, or at least he has been able to attempt to influence the future by seeing how things might go. Now that we know the Night King has a limitless Home Depot credit card, maybe the giant chains he got there to pull Viserion from the lake can be used to go over the Wall.
