Woman who disappeared after Tinder date is found dead: family

Missing Lincoln Woman’s Body Found

A body found in rural Clay County Monday afternoon is believed to be Sydney Loofe, who had been missing from Lincoln for a couple of weeks. She was last seen in Wilber, 40 miles (64 kilometers) southwest of Lincoln, police have said.

Two individuals named as people of enthusiasm for Loofe's vanishing, Aubrey Trail, 51, and Bailey Boswell, the 23-year-old lady she met on the web, stayed imprisoned on Tuesday on a hold by the US Marshal's Service. Foul play is suspected, Lincoln Police Chief Jeff Bliemeister tells USA Today.

Multiple law enforcement agencies had been searching for Loofe, including the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

In an interview with the Neligh News and Leader Monday night, George Loofe expressed gratitude to those who prayed for their daughter, posted flyers, spread word on social media and "everyone that had anything to do with the search for Sydney". May God allow everlasting rest unto thee. "It's with heavy hearts that we share this most recent update with you all", the post reads.

Ms Loofe had posted a Snapchat image before the meeting with an emoji and caption: "Ready for my date". When her family couldn't get ahold of her, they reported her missing to police.

"By their own statements on social media, we believe that Aubrey Trail and Bailey Boswell were two of the last people to have been known to have been with Sydney prior to her disappearance".

Bowell and her roommate have been jailed on unrelated charges since November 30, when they were taken into custody in Taney County, Missouri.

Trail and Boswell have denied their involvement in Loofe's disappearance through a weird trio of videos posted last week on social media.

A second firefighter was also injured, with Terrazas telling ABC7 the firefighter was burned when a propane tank exploded. A brush fire has erupted on the west side of Los Angeles along Interstate 405 in Sepulveda Pass.

Boswell, wearing a hoodie and sunglasses in a video, said she dropped Loofe off at a friend's house after their date and never heard from her again.

Wilber was also the last place where Loofe's cellphone pinged.

Police say Loofe last contacted her family November 15 when she sent a Snapchat about being excited for a date. Police released several photos of Trail and Boswell to help locate them.

Bliemiester on Tuesday said investigators have explored the claims in the videos extensively.

"We're going to be busy for a little while working on it and like I said just to make sure we have everything we need to thoroughly process this", Pullen said.

"I hope that Sydney is found very soon, she is a sweet, wonderful girl", she said.

Trail said they have been speaking with investigators and have nothing to hide.

Loofe liked Lincoln but was looking to change jobs, her mother said. They add: 'Our thoughts and prayers are with the Loofe family'.
