Army Members Accused of Misbehavior on Trump Trip

The three men were working with the White House Communications Agency, which assists the president, vice president and Secret Service to set up secure communications while traveling. The Defense Department has confirmed that an investigation into behavior of personnel on that trip is underway. The officers are accused of breaking curfew during Trump's Vietnam trip.

If found guilty they could lose their security clearance - or even face a court martial.

Trump visited Danang, Vietnam, on November 10 and Hanoi the next day during his 12-day Asian trip.

The four men were accused of taking foreign women into a secure area while they were preparing for Mr Pence's arrival, and were forced to fly home early pending an investigation. Pence was reportedly still in the United States when the incident occurred.

Army Col. Amanda I. Azubuike, a spokesperson for the USA military, told the Post that the investigation into the Panama incident has been closed and has since been sent to senior military officials for review.

The officials stated the three members the curfew while in Vietnam, and their actions are now being carefully inspected by the military.

In August this year, 23 passengers were killed and 150 injured when the Utkal Kalinga Express derailed in Uttar Pradesh. Two of the dead were identified as Deepak Patel , 25, and his six-year-old son Golu from Betia in Bihar.

The soldiers were part of the White House's Communications Agency, which accompanied Trump during his 12-day tour of Asia.

Service members are required to register their contacts with foreigners while accompanying the president, vice president and other senior officials on global trips. The WHCA, a branch of the White House Military Office, is staffed by former military service personnel, according to The Hill.

A significant number of its staff are assigned to White House duties for four-year stints.

Mr Trump and Mr Pence's teams have not commented on the incidents and have referred requests for comment to the Pentagon. "The secret service takes all allegations of misconduct seriously".

In 2012, several Secret Service agents performing advance security preparations in Colombia for President Barack Obama were disciplined for bringing women to their hotel rooms.

The incident happened when the USA security services were preparing for former President Barack Obama's visit to Cartagena, Colombia.
