IPhone SE 2 rumours reemerge

B&H Launches Massive Black Friday Sale on Apple Products With Savings up to $1,100

The last upgrade of the iPhone SE happened in March this year with a slight bump in memory.

Apple iPhone SE 2 could launch in early 2018, according to a new report. Although it was primarily target at developing countries such as India, the smartphone has also found a niche following among those who prefer the pocketability and classic design of the smartphone.

The phone is likely to cost about $450, which is what the SE originally cost when it was first released. Currently, the iPhone SE selling in India are being assembled at the same factory.

The device is expected to cost about $450, much cheaper than the $999 iPhone X. The low price will cater to those who can't afford the iPhone 8 and iPhone X. The iPhone SE was meant to be an affordable handset, primarily targeting India.

Shop Small / Local businesses gear up for Small Business Saturday
Last year Mayor Robert Uribe provided these six reasons why residents should shop local, courtesy of Co-op Credit Unions. But with unemployment low and the economy in solid shape, stores are hoping customers are in a mood to shop.

Though we have an estimated time frame for the launch of the iPhone SE 2, we need to mention that this is not the first time that we are getting to know information about the iPhone SE successor.

Apple has been adamant about keeping the smaller handset alive over the past few years, and it's nice to see the company is keeping its word by making some modern changes to the device so it can still compete in the market. For imaging, the device might come with a 12MP primary camera and a 5MP selfie camera at the front. It lets fans of the smaller 4-inch screen retain the pocket-friendly size, but benefit from near-flagship specs.

If a second-generation model were to be launched in 2018, we'd expect it to take the best of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 8, meaning at least an A10 processor.
