Galaxy S9 Leak: New Renders, Code Names And Model Numbers

Samsung second largest smartphone brand in UK slightly behind Apple Counterpoint

We all chuckled because small or large, you shouldn't ever have to compromise when choosing a flagship phone. Ahead of the official launch, a new report coming from ET News claims that Samsung Galaxy S9 lineup will boast the similar hardware setup and basic specs but the difference will be in the software department, Gadget360.

Codenamed Star 1 and Star 2 - and going by model numbers SM-G960 and SM-G965 - the S9 and S9+ will feature the same 5.8-inch and 6.2-inch curved-edge Super AMOLED "Infinity" displays, respectively, as their predecessors. This further clarifies why the benchmarked S9 only sported 4GB of RAM.

Nigeria police say at least 20 killed in mosque bombing
In October, three female suicide bombers killed 13 people and wounded 16 in the northeastern city of Maiduguri in Nigeria. He said, "Today's attack appears to be yet another example of Boko Haram's continued unlawful disregard for human life".

Whether it's a full reveal or a sneak peak of what's to come, it's sure to put extra eyes on the Samsung keynote, which usually centres around new TVs. You could think of the S9 to the S8 as the S7 was to the S6. Well, no. But it's a sh*tty move on their part if it happens.

Meanwhile, the processor could make the leap to the Snapdragon 845, while RAM is likely to increase to 6GB. Venturebeat reports that the Galaxy S9 line will feature AKG stereo speakers (!), a centered rear-fingerprint sensor (!) situated under a vertically aligned camera and flash, and a new DeX dock that allows the phone to lay flat and act as a touchpad or virtual keyboard when in use. If the renders from this Galaxy S9 leak are any indication, it's going to be a attractive device with premium looks to accompany its premium performance. Now this deal from Carphone Warehouse sees it down to just £29 per month with 500MB of data from iD Mobile.
