Valkyria Chronicles 4 announced for 2018, is coming to the Switch

Valkyria Chronicles 4 Has Been Announced For Nintendo Switch

Valkyria Chronicles 4 is due out for PlayStation 4 on March 21, 2018 and for Switch in summer 2018 in Japan, and for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Switch in 2018 in the Americas and Europe. Valkyria Chronicles 4 is coming after more than a decade of the release of the original game.

Valkyria Chronicles 4 is the first game in the series that is a direct sequel and not a different story set in the same universe. The beloved Valkyria Chronicles series makes its grand return westward in 2018 with Valkyria Chronicles 4, a new mainline chapter in the saga for PlayStation®4, Nintendo Switch™, and Xbox One™. Yes, that's right, the excellent strategy series is getting a brand-new entry for the first time in almost 10 years - hopefully this one will appease fans more than this year's Valkyria Revolution. Players will take up the role of Commander Claude Wallace and his team of childhood friends in Squad E as they fight for Operation Northern Cross, their last efforts at taking the Imperial capital and bringing the bloody war to an end.

Woman threatened for 'f*ck Trump' sticker says f*ck the sheriff too
The 5-4 ruling found those words would not immediately incite violence and should be considered protected political speech. She celebrated her freedom in the most epic way imaginable - by trolling the sheriff with a sassy AF decal for her truck.

Expect the same turn-based strategy RPG mixed with third-person shooting gameplay, arty watercolour anime visuals and another score from Hitoshi Sakimoto. This fourth entry in the series will set itself within the same time period, but will follow a new cast of characters known as Squad E.

Unlike Valkyria Chronicles 3, which was never localised, this new game has been confirmed to be coming to the West on all platforms, though a firm release date beyond "2018" has not yet been announced.
