Nice weather to start the week

The National Weather Service says there's a chance of some inland areas of CT could see some snowflakes on Monday. The low will be around 49 with a south wind of 5 to 7 miles per hour. "The local region will have increasing northerly flow today".

Snow in November is not unusual.

Across northern New England, there is some light snow associated with this system, but it's mainly the type of thing that accumulates on grassy surfaces and in shady areas. Ridgefield had around 3 inches, with southern CT areas got from a dusting to a half inch. After the weekend chill, temperatures have recovered somewhat but are still at frosty levels.

The weather service predicts the high Monday around 62 degrees, with an overnight low around 47. Highs push the upper 50s.

Saturday looks to be cloudy with highs in the mid-50s, and there is a chance for evening rain as the next strong cold front moves in. This will cause us to be partly cloudy with highs staying in the mid-70s and winds will be out of the southwest/ northwest at 5-15 miles per hour. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent.

Tomorrow: Partly Cloudy, Breezy. North wind around 6 miles per hour. Wind chill values between 20 and 30.
