The Feud Between Trump and Corker Is Puzzling to Washington Insiders

Sen. Bob Corker of Tennessee, engaged in a bitter Twitter feud with President Donald Trump, and other establishment Republicans insist that the tax cuts not increase the federal budget deficit.

The only fix for a commander in chief who is treating his immensely powerful office like "a reality show" is a new commander in chief.

"The Failing New York Times set Liddle' Bob Corker up by recording his conversation".

Corker, who is one of Tillerson's few confidants and staunch defenders in Washington, criticized a Trump tweet last weekend that undercut Tillerson's negotiations with North Korea.

Twitter working on a new bookmarking feature for tweets
That's interesting, given that building "with" user input is how Twitter used to develop features borrowed from the community. Twitter's move to add bookmarking to its service comes just weeks after the company began to test longer tweets .

Corker tweeted a biting retort: "It's a shame the White House has become an adult day care center". If it has any hope of continuing to offer itself as a steady hand on the tiller, more Republicans must follow Corker - rhetorically and, ultimately, electorally.

Corker warned that Trump was viewed as a threat to the United States national security and global stability warning that he could prompt "World War III". "We're on the right path right now, believe me". "Corker and the people of Tennessee", Sanders said. "I think we are well on our way".

So who IS Bob Corker? Trump reacted by tweeting that Corker had decided not to run for reelection in 2018 because the president refused to endorse Corker. Trump believes USA corporations are the highest taxed in the world and that the people of the United States desperately want to be relieved of burdensome taxes. Corker also helped tutor Trump on foreign affairs, and he in turn considered the senator as a possible running mate and secretary of state. Even after Trump won, Corker was on the list of possibilities for Secretary of State.

"The President called Senator Corker on Monday afternoon and asked him to reconsider his decision not to seek re-election and reaffirmed that he would have endorsed him, as he has said many times", Womack said in a statement. "I don't think so at all", he said.
