SEVERE THREAT Iran is furious the US is planning to blacklist its Revolutionary Guards

If Trump declines to certify the Iran deal, US congressional leaders would have 60 days to decide whether to reimpose sanctions on Tehran suspended under the agreement.

Iran has once again warned Washington against designating the elite wing of the Iranian Army, the Revolutionary Guards, as a terrorist group, saying that "all options are on the table", according to a top aide to Iran's supreme leader. "It's time America be taught new lessons".

Trump has long criticized the Iranian nuclear pact. But the moderates and hardliners tend to rally together in public when threatened from overseas. "All options are on the table", he said.

"We are all integrated and standing in the same line", he underlined, adding that the resistant nation of Iran will stand against plots.

The Iranian nuclear deal, backed by European countries, China and Russian Federation, lifted broad global sanctions over Iran's nuclear program that had been tightened during the Obama years and had caused severe damage to Iran's economy.

Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari made the remarks in the coordination session for celebrating the 40th anniversary of Islamic Revolution, stressing that the IRGC and Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif share similar views on Iran's defensive, political and social programs. Iran accepted to limit its nuclear activities in exchange for sanctions relief. In their most recent report on the designation, the US Department of State said the IRGC's Quds force was used to support terrorism throughout the Middle East.

"Trump might say some things by the end of the week, but this should not create chaos in the market".

"The world should be thankful to the IRGC for its fight against terrorists, especially against Daesh [an Arabic acronym for the self-styled Islamic State terrorist group]", Iranian government spokesman, Mohammad Baqer Nobakht, said in a weekly news conference on Tuesday, Reuters reported.

Zarif said Iran had repeatedly announced that its defensive power was not negotiable, adding that it has been even specified in the JCPOA that Iran would not negotiate on its defensive power.
