Superb Storm to claim NRL premiership

NRL Grand Final Preview: Storm v Cowboys

THERE'S just one more sleep until the NRL Grand Final and Warwick has well and truly thrown its support behind the fairytale run of the North Queensland Cowboys.

The Cowboys halfback and rampaging lock were spoken about as potential x-factors however had little influence on the game as the Storm comprehensively outplayed the Townsville-based underdogs at ANZ Stadium on Sunday.

Roaming far from his posting on the wing, an opportunistic Addo-Carr sighted an opportunity as centre Will Chambers danced around opposition players in the centre of the field after an attacking North Queensland kick had come to nothing on Melbourne's line.

They have instead been forced to move their final training session to Sydney's Jubilee Park in Kogorah.

That game finished in a 29-16 win for the Queensland side, but the Storm had a much easier time of it in their Grand Final Qualifier, running in four tries to none in a 30-0 win over the Broncos. If you sit back and give the Storm time to develop their game, you have no hope of beating them.

You know it is going to deliver on grand final night.

Now, a premiership victor and the owner of two grand final tries on the one evening, the 22-year-old is going places fast.

After a stalemate that stretched almost 20 minutes, the Storm took control of the first half, with Josh Addo-Carr's stunning opener setting the tone for the evening.

Directly opposite Cronk is Michael Morgan; the man who has more than emerged from the shadow of injured future immortal Johnathan Thurston. The Storm are experts at slowing down an opposition's momentum and they'll have Taumalolo tangled up in a pile of defenders each time he makes a run. He is one of the most exciting full-backs to ever play rugby league and he'll be the one to benefit from the Storm's all-round dominance.

Conte reacts to Aguero's accident ahead of City match
For sure I have great respect for Pep. "I think we have the points we deserve". "We are excited to play in this type of game". Don't forget, this is the last game of seven games in 21 days, and a really tough and important game after Atletico Madrid .

In no particular order: Cameron Smith, Cronk and Billy Slater aren't just the best league players in Australia, they're also some of the best blokes.

And for the first 20 minutes of the second half, they were the better side.

He has not missed a game since, with the grand final to be his 28th this season.

For starters, North Queensland isn't supposed to be there.

Walker said that when Storm fullback Billy Slater had blinders the Storm generally won.

But Melbourne are better.

The injured Slater watched from the sidelines 12 months ago as Cronk and his team-mates suffered a 14-12 upset to Cronulla Sharks in the season decider.

After the preliminary final, Roosters coach Trent Robinson declared that Morgan is the best player in the world right now, and that is hard to dispute.
