Brandis fires back at Abbott's demand to not 'politicise' sport

Tony Abbott Is Mad That Macklemore Is Performing 'Same Love' At The NRL Grand Final

Macklemore has hit back at attempts by "angry, old white dudes" to stop him playing his same-sex marriage anthem at an Australian sports final.

Australians are now voting in a non-binding survey on whether to legalise same-sex marriage.

Despite the petition and the fetid ramblings of an ex-PM, Macklemore and singer Mary Lambert WILL be performing Same Love at the GF on Sunday and it's gonna be a bloody lovely moment.

"On Thursday morning, attorney general George Brandis told ABC TV that Tony Abbott's criticism was "a freakish thing to say", adding that "[he] thought Mr Abbott believed in freedom of speech".

Attorney-General and marriage equality support, George Brandis, hit out at his colleague, Tony Abbott's comments.

In response to all of this opposition, Macklemore simply said: "I'mma go harder".

The petition, initiated this week by a former rugby league player Tony Wall, said it would be hard to watch the final "with a LGBTIQ [lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex and queer] anthem taking center stage".

The US rapper will perform the song, which supports same-sex love, at the NRL Grand Final in Sydney on Sunday.

Now Rob Kardashian and Kylie Jenner are suing Blac Chyna
Side note: Rob's suit includes her contract for " Rob & Chyna ", which says she was making $92,500 for each hour-long episode. Chyna terrorized Kylie by telling her to get tests for sexually transmitted diseases because Kylie was dating Tyga .

Spokesman, David Goodwin, said it was "bizarre" that the song was being performed at half time and millions of Australians disagreed with its message.

She also stated that there is no reason that Macklemore shouldn't be performing Same Love, he wrote that song from his heart and with so much love, why wouldnt they want to be heard?

"Freedom of speech is a central issue in this campaign", the Coalition for Marriage said last week following the Abbott headbutt.

Speaking to USA radio show The Cruz Show, the rapper said: "I'm actually going out to Australia to perform at kind of the Superbowl of their rugby league".

"It's interesting actually, because I'm playing Same Love, and they're going through right now trying to legalise same-sex marriage in Australia", he told LA radio station Power 106.

As Breitbart News has reported, the ballot in Australia to decide whether or not same-sex marriage should be allowed is closer than originally predicted.

Macklemore told USA media he'd been receiving lots of tweets from "angry old white men" about the issue.
