After Warriors Say They Don't Want WH Visit, Trump Rescinds Invitation

Kobe Bryant Blasts Trump For Inspiring 'Dissention And Hatred' After Attack On NBA Star, Other Celebs Chime In

This exchange of words came just as the National Football League was criticizing Trump's "divisive comments" about players who have taken to kneeling during the national anthem to protest racial inequality.

It's customary for the president to extend a courtesy invitation to the White House for championship teams, but many on the Warriors are not fans of Donald Trump, including head coach Steve Kerr and players Kevin Durant and two-time MVP Curry.

"I don't want to go", Curry said, according to USA Today.

Though Trump didn't weigh in on Curry's comments last night, he weighed in on Saturday morning.

The Warriors insist that they were never officially been invited to visit the White House, and were planning to meet as a team to discuss whether or not they would make the trip to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

Oddly enough, though, Trump is apparently disinviting Curry to nothing, as the Warriors have yet to officially receive an invitation to the White House.

"So for us to just really take the time to understand the magnitude of this decision and the right thing to do, the right way to go about it is important".

North Korea's threat gives US a new set of challenges
Kim repeatedly referred to President Trump as a " dotard ", an arcane term used to describe a weak or senile elderly person. Trump asserted that North Korea's reckless pursuit of nuclear weapons threatens entire world with vast loss of human life.

It's worth noting - mainly because Trump tends to keep score of such things - that as of 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Trump's tweet had 96,000 likes and James' tweet had 295,000 likes.

"By not going, hopefully that will inspire some change in terms of what we tolerate in this country", Curry said.

On Friday, of course, Curry told The Jump's Rachel Nichols that he would vote not to attend the White House, though the Warriors hadn't even formally received an invite from the Trump administration.

"We're all trying to do what we can, using our platforms, our opportunities, to shed light on it".

- Draymond Green (@Money23Green) September 23, 2017With everything that's going on in our country, why are YOU focused on who's kneeling and visiting the White House??? "So there wouldn't be any reason for me to go at all".

James, whose Cleveland Cavaliers lost to the Warriors in the NBA Finals, was a vocal supporter of Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and visited the White House during President Barack Obama's tenure. I want them to talk about racism every day.
