Ex-Manchester United defender Wes Brown moves to India

Ex-Man Utd star Wes Brown signs for Rene Meulensteen’s Indian Super League side

Berbatov is poised to play in the Indian League with another ex-united player, Wes Brown.

Many believed that the 36-year-old would retire from professional football this summer.

If the move materialises, Berbatov will be linking back up with former teammate Wes Brown, who was announced by Kerala on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Brown was ecstatic after signing up for the ISL season four as he tweeted, "Hello India, Happy Independence day!"

Kerala Blasters have always had a loyal backing at their home ground with the "Sea of Yellow" being famous all around the country.

After breaking Marlins' season home run record, Stanton gets beer shower
Denard Span hit a two-run home run to start their comeback and he lined the single to Stanton that put them ahead in the seventh. Rookie Rafael Devers hit two homers for the Red Sox, giving him five in 16 games since making his major league debut on July 25.

During his time with the Black Cats Brown played in 87 matches, scoring once, but his time with club was often disrupted by injury, often making less than 30 appearances in a season for the Tyne and Wear side.

Brown, 37, released by Blackburn at the end of last season, is reunited with the Blasters' new head coach Rene Meulensteen after the pair worked together during their time at Old Trafford. He came through the ranks at the club and won five Premier League titles and two Champions Leagues. I can't wait to play in front of one of the best fans in the world.

The central defender could be the first of two high profile signings for the Blasters, who are also chasing the signing of Dimitar Berbatov.
