Arrangements in place for lunar eclipse

A partial lunar eclipse occurs when the earth moves between the sun and moon but the three celestial bodies do not form a perfectly straight line in space

It will begin at 10.53 p.m. on August 7 and end at 12.48 a.m. on August 8.

The last lunar eclipse of this year will be on Monday August 7, where it will be occurring during full moon of Hijric month "Dhul- Qa'da", Qatar Calendar House (QCH) announced.
