Tom Wopat has been arrested for allegedly grabbing a woman's butt. Wopat will not take part in it because a judge ordered him to stay away from the victim.

TMZ reports the indecent assault charge stems from a woman connected to the show's production, where Wopat allegedly put his hands down her trousers.

A statement from the Waltham, Mass., Police Department said Wopat, 65, was arrested in his auto on a warrant late Wednesday.

According to TMZ.com, police were actively looking for Wopat, who was arrested after his vehicle was pulled over.

The actor denied touching anyone inappropriately, according to court documents. He said he flirts, and likes to be friendly, but "nothing that could be considered inappropriate".

The gossip website TMZ reported that Wopat, who played Luke Duke on the iconic show, is accused of groping a woman connected to a local production of "42nd Street" that he's starring in. That's when they found a small bag of cocaine.

Besides his role on "The Dukes of Hazzard", an action-comedy that ran from 1979 until 1985, he has acted in other television shows and movies, is a Tony Award-nominated stage actor and is a recording artist.
