Sending money to friends or family members is about to get a little easier with Skype and PayPal.

Microsoft and PayPal are teaming up to introduce a new Send Money feature in the modern Skype on mobile devices.

The Skype app has over 1bn mobile downloads to date. When the Send Money feature is used for the very first time it will ask users to confirm their location.

The US based, Elon Musk owned firm PayPal has already announced their upcoming tie-ups with several companies like Apple, Visa, etc. for integrating their system as a default payment system.

The new update will be gradually rolling out today to Skype's Android and iOS apps in the United States and other support regions.

I'll frame that this way: "there are other positions that we're looking at too and I don't have any updates on those either". Many have attributed his unemployment to his decision to kneel for the national anthem ahead of games last season.

To try it out, swipe right when you're chatting with someone then tap Send Money. That is, sending is free when you use your PayPal balance or debit card in the U.S. If you choose to use a credit card instead, the fee is 3.4 percent of the transaction amount plus $0.30.

Whether it's to send money to your daughter studying overseas, reimburse a friend for grabbing milk at the store, or one of a million other reasons you might need to transfer cash, Send Money makes it easy and efficient.

In recent months, PayPal has been spreading its tentacles-moving into new areas in order to remain the number one p2p payment platform on the lips of people globally. PayPal has been aggressively extending its services to various other third party services as competition from mobile payment solutions continue to grow.

When you shop online, you can easily make your payment with PayPal in addition to other available options, and also receive notification.
