IN PICS: World's longest suspension bridge opens in Switzerland

Switzerland is now home to the world's longest pedestrian suspension bridge.

The super-narrow bridge over the Grabengufer ravine, near Zermatt, measures 1,620 feet long (or about a third of a mile), and hangs 278 feet in the air. The bridge was originally conceived to replace an old suspension bridge damaged by rocks.

If you're looking for a cheap thrill, then this new pedestrian suspension bridge in Switzerland might be a fun time.

Blair Must Face Justice to Prevent Another Iraq
Former British prime minister Tony Blair argued the case for the 2003 invasion of Iraq in support of then U.S. president George W. The ruling follows the publication a year ago of the UK's official Iraq War, led by Sir John Chilcot.

Would you be able for Switzerland's answer to The Shaky Bridge?

A steel structure connects the bridge between two sections of Grächen and Zermatt, a two-day hike. The bridge, which takes 10 minutes to cross, is part of the Europaweg trail and reaches heights of 7,218 feet above sea level, according to a press release from Zermatt Tourism. And while you're taking the long walk across it, you can get a stunning view of the Matterhorn and Weisshorn peaks, as well as the Bernese Alps.

But be advised: Zermatt Tourism warns that the bridge, which was named after a psychologist and winery co-owner, is not for those who are afraid of heights or easily experience vertigo.
