New July patch brings Magitek Armour and more quests

Magitek Exosuit In Final Fantasy XV

Square Enix has pushed out the July update for Final Fantasy XV on both Xbox One and PS4, adding in some new content for players to dive into.

The "Muteki Suits" are available to download now in the latest update for Final Fantasy 15 on PlayStation 4.

Take on the game's toughest bosses with the Magitek Exosuits-for 30 minutes a day, these will grant invincibility. The update's size is reported to be around 2,5Gb, featuring a number of new additions and various bug fixes.

Also included in the patch is a new quest that doubles as a Walt Whitman reference, called "O Partner, My Partner" and a new wrinkle to combat called "Cross Chain", which is meant to up your combat effectiveness against enemies with high defense. Once invincibility has worn off, players can continue to wear the exosuits in-game.

The new quest, "O Partner, My Partner", comes without any specific details as to what the quest entails but we do know that players can accept it from the Meldacio Hunter HQ after completing Chapter Eight.

Finally, with the return of the popular Moogle Chocobo Carnival, players of all levels can once again set off to Altissia for limited-time-only-mini-games, Chocobo water races and special Moogle Chocobo menu items from the Square Enix Café.

Overwriting save data from the old version with save data of this version, it can no longer be used in the old version.

Also remember that coming is August is the multiplayer expansion.
