Microsoft acquires SwiftKey in support of re-inventing productivity ambition

Microsoft's Word Flow keyboard for iOS is no more

But, like with other Microsoft Garage endeavors, that is not always enough to keep it alive.

Microsoft had started their Windows Phone Flow keyboard as a Microsoft Garage project in February on iOS as a private beta and it was officially made available for all users from April 2017. Users are now being directed to download the company's SwiftKey app. The Word Flow experiment is now complete!

Word Flow's most striking feature was the optional curved keyboard called Arc, meant for easier use when typing one-handed.

Speaking to mediapersons outside the Parliament on Monday, a visibly upset Yadav said: "Whatever happened is very unfortunate". It is at this forum where Nitish wants Sharad to speak about his feelings about the recent political upheaval in the state.

Microsoft (msft) is no longer updating its Word Flow digital keyboard for iOS-powered mobile devices, according to Microsoft. I say "was" because Microsoft chose to pull the plug on the development and remove Word Flow from the App Store.

For the most part, SwiftKey is better, smoother, more reliable and accurate than Word Flow. But if you don't already own a copy of Microsoft's Word Flow, your window to buy one has closed. We'll continue to develop SwiftKey's market-leading keyboard apps for Android and iOS as well as explore scenarios for the integration of the core technology across the breadth of our product and services portfolio. Microsoft said in an updated product description for Word Flow on Monday that was spotted by tech news site WindowsCentral. Do you think Microsoft should have killed off its experimental keyboard?
