Trump appears to confirm he's under investigation

"Witch Hunt", Trump said in a Twitter message.

Trump spent Friday morning touting his economic policies and criticizing the investigation.

ABC said Rosenstein told Associate Attorney General Rachel Brand she would have authority over the probe if he were to step aside. He has already been subpoenaed by the House Permanent Select Intelligence Committee. An official of Trump's transition confirmed the laywer's internal order sent Thursday.

That, apparently, is where we are in the constant debate about President Trump, Robert Mueller and the prosecutorial machinery clanking into action.

President Donald Trump complained on social media about the wide-ranging investigation of Russian interference in the United States election as Robert Mueller appeared to widen his probe to include whether Trump tried to obstruct justice. The newspaper noted Mueller had requested interviews with CIA Director Dan Coats, National Security Agency chief Michael Rogers and Richard Ledgett, the former NSA deputy director.

The move was confirmed by a transition official who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss post-election decisions.

A person familiar with Trump's tweet said the President was referencing news reports that he is under investigation and was not indicating that he's been personally informed by the special counsel that he is a target of the probe.

Vice President Mike Pence has also hired a private lawyer to represent his interests in the expanding probe.

Before Cindy, Tropical Storm Bret formed in the late afternoon on Monday, June 19 in the Southern Caribbean. As of this writing, counties under tropical storm watch include Harris, Galveston, Liberty and Chambers.

In his latest tweet, the president seemed to confirm he is under investigation for possible obstruction of justice. "Absent the most extreme circumstances, the President would be singularly ill-advised to threaten, much less order, Mueller's firing". "Regulations way down, jobs and enthusiasm way up!"

The Labor Department this month that the jobless rate fell to 4.3 percent the lowest level since 2001, from 4.4 percent.

President Donald Trump is touting his social media following, saying he can deliver his message directly to voters instead of going through the "fake news media".

Trump's twitter should be the next to lawyer up. He also has millions of followers on his official Facebook pages.

White House aides have been instructed to not talk about Russian Federation investigation, but that doesn't apply to the President.

The debate over whether Trump is under investigation is silly at this point.

On Thursday morning, Trump lashed out at the story, tweeting: "They made up a phony collusion with the Russians story, found zero proof, so now they go for obstruction of justice on the phony story".

The new allegations against Trump center on his own admission that he fired Comey because of the Russian Federation investigation, and suggestions he asked several top intelligence officials for their help altering the inquiry's direction. He has questioned why investigators don't dig into the links between the Democrats and the Russian government, including his general election opponent, Hillary Clinton.
