Feared Dead In 4-Alarm West Oakland Fire

Crews thought they saw a body on the floor but there was too much smoke to confirm that information.

Cook said building owner Keith Kim began trying to evict the nonprofit shortly after a devastating Oakland warehouse fire in December killed three dozen partygoers. He said seven people were rescued and three people were hospitalized.

Oakland Firefighters are battling a 4-alarm fire in Oakland according to KRON-TV.

Battalion Chief Erik Logan did not provide the gender of the deceased. They kept the fire contained to the one building, Logan said, but the fire still had not been declared under control at 8 a.m.

About 50 to 60 people live in the building, fire officials said.

Danny Blind sacked as Netherlands head coach
They were 2-0 down within 20 minutes, but perhaps even worse was the fact they didn't get a shot on target until the 57th minute. But most expected the player making his debut to be Wesley Hoedt, who has about 60 games of pro experience on de Ligt.

Fire inspectors visited the building on more than one occasion in recent weeks to check on possible code violations there, but the results of those inspections were not known immediately.

Residents also included a 9-year-old boy who escaped in his underwear and socks. They were on the third floor and said the hallways were filled with flames.

According to the San Francisco Chronicle, crews arrived on the scene at 6:10 a.m.

It's unclear if anyone died in today's fire.
